RIP Corey: My Friend Died and It Sucks! (June 2023) by Chris Buchanan, YA graphic novel part memoir, part-self-help about a young man who died unexpectedly in his early 20's. The book is designed to comfort grieving children and young adults of all abilities, letting them know they are not alone and helping them start difficult conversations about death. With few words, beautiful pictures, and without explanations and lectures, this accessible book allows readers to form their own opinions and questions and share them with their loved ones who are eager to listen. I am currently looking for an agent to help me publish about 5 educational workbooks that are FUN, SILLY, irreverent and brief to keep the struggling reader engaged, and about 20 picture book ideas.
