BAIPA member Nisha Zenoff, Ph.D., will soon publish her book, THE UNSPEAKABLE LOSS: How Do You Live After A Child Dies?
July is the 35th anniversary of Dr. Zenoff’s son Victor’s death, at the age of 18, in a hike at Yosemite. To commemorate his memory, this book chronicles her own personal journey through the long process of grief. Even though she herself was trained as a professional grief counselor, nothing prepared her for the devastation she experienced after her son died.
Every year 100,000 families in the United States experience the nightmare of losing a child. THE UNSPEAKABLE LOSS shares the collective wisdom, hope, guidance and comfort from hundreds of grieving parents, relatives and friends Dr. Zenoff has counseled as a therapist.
Dr. Zenoff has a Kickstarter campaign, running from July 19 to August 19, seeking donors to contribute to the publishing of the book.
