Deborah Myers, Certified Acupressurist and Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioner, is a graduate of the Acupressure Institute, Berkeley, CA and has trained under several Jin Shin Jyutsu masters. She has also studied Touch for Health, Reflexology, Shiatsu, Tui Na, intuitive healing, and has extensive training in women’s health issues. Her background includes degrees in sociology and psychology and careers as a counselor, mediator, and financial consultant.
After a car accident in which Deborah received significant injuries, she experienced healing through acupressure, Jin Shin and acupuncture. Desiring to find out why these treatments worked when everything else had been unsuccessful, Deborah began studying both Jin Shin Jyutsu and acupressure. She now uses her knowledge of the body, mind and spirit gained from her training and experience to assist others in their search for pain relief, stress reduction and healing. In her work, Deborah uses a blend of bodywork techniques which stimulate the body’s natural healing process.
