This month, Sausalito is opening its new independent bookstore, which is great about supporting local authors. My new novel, Landing By Moonlight, is the first “big” event,on October 27, at 3 pm.
Come join in the celebration, raise a glass, and meet the new owner, Cheryl Popp, at this “community supported” model of a local bookstore. It’s a refurbished location at 100 Bay Street, on the water overlooking our harbor. They also sell “objets d’art” for home and gifting, plus “grab’n’go” food to take to a nearby waterfront park.
Our party, however, will have libations and some nibbles (see invite below). Parking in front or in our adjacent parking lots.
- WHO: Author of her 12th novel, CIJI WARE (also a broadcast journalist for 23 years…)
- WHAT: Launch Party for LANDING BY MOONLIGHT: A Novel of WW II [American women secret agents parachuting into France]
- WHERE: Sausalito Books by the Bay, a Community-Supported Bookstore, at 100 Bay Street, Sausalito

Wine, Nibbles, and Entertainment—ever heard of “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy?”
