BAIPA Author Pens ‘Cartoonish’ Mystery Play Being Staged in Mill Valley

John Byrne Barry, winner of the 2015 BAIPA Best Book Award, has written a murder mystery play that’s opening this weekend in Mill Valley.

It’s called Publish or Perish: Tam Valley Mystery Writers’ Retreat Murder Mystery, It might be fun for you to read my interview with John about the show for the six MarinScope weeklies. And then go. Here’s the clip from the Mill Valley Herald, where I write regular theater reviews.

The show runs March 10, 11, 17, and 18 at the Tamalpais Valley Community Center. Call (415) 388-6393. More info at tscd.us. Dinner starts at 6:30; the show at 7:30. Both Saturday shows are sold out, but there are still tickets ($30) for Fridays (March 10 and 17).
