Amazon Ads with Bob Heyman – November 7, 2020

MORNING PRESENTATION:

Mastering Amazon Ads

Bob Heyman, Managing Partner of Digital Engagement Group

During this session, we will look at one of the most powerful tools for marketing your book: advertising on Amazon.

Bob will take us step-by-step through how to navigate what can be a very effective book marketing strategy— IF you know what to do, and what decisions to make.

At this session, we will discuss:

  • The various types of ads
  • Choosing and using keywords
  • Bidding strategies
  • Case Studies of actual campaigns

And ending with some Q&A.

AFTERNOON WORKSHOP

Creating & Optimizing Amazon Book Ads

The afternoon workshop will include “hands on” work with authors wanting to craft their Amazon Book Ad, choose a bid strategy and budget, and select keywords.

Bob will cover:

• How to select keywords to bid on
• Tools to use to find keywords and categories
• Bid strategies
• Optimization strategies

About Our Speaker

Bob HeymanBob Heyman is the Managing Partner of the Digital Engagement Group. He previously served as Chief Search Officer of Mediasmith, Inc. From 1998 to 2001, Bob was the founder and Chief Executive Officer of eMarketing Partners, where his clients included IBM, NEC, and ABC. He also co-founded CybeReps which was acquired by Interep. Bob is a leading author and entrepreneur in the field of Internet marketing. At Cybernautics, a company he founded in 1994 and sold to USWeb in 1997, he coined the terms “Audience Development” for building traffic to websites and the term “Search Engine Optimization” (SEO). Bob is generally credited with inventing the agency side of search engine marketing. He is the author of seven Internet marketing books, including Net Results, Digital Engagement, and SEO 4 Authors.

BAIPA Monthly Meetings

IMPORTANT
BAIPA is now meeting on the second Saturday of every month via Zoom only for now. Starting in October 2020, we will be meeting on the first Saturday. In general, from October going forward, if the first Saturday falls on a holiday or holiday weekend, we will meet on the second Saturday.
