The Editing Process: Sometimes Painful, Always Important
Litquake! has teamed up with Mechanics Institute Library to offer half- and whole-day programs this summer with writers and people in all aspects of publishing. BAIPA member David Colin Carr will be speaking on Saturday, July 11, from 1-4pm, on the topic: The Editing Process: Sometimes Painful, Always Important.
How can a writer become a better self-editor? How can you know if you’re being too self-critical? Not critical enough? When is it a good idea to call for outside help? How does the process work? How do editors think?
Editor and writing coach David Colin Carr will talk, answer questions and do consultations with this intimate class—a process that can be enormously educational for all. Come learn from the editor who bestselling author Jack Kornfield (PhD) called, “well organized, thoughtful, creative and skillful.”
