BAIPA members might want to check out my blog on 6/26 called “A very new format for a seminar workbook” at: blog.gordonburgett.com.
Why is it important to BAIPA folk? Because lots of us speak to other groups. And for each of us the biggest first hurdle is the kind of workbook or handout copy we must provide the listeners to guide them through our words and to give them enough written information so that they can apply our message from examples or guidelines we offer verbally. For years I gave 2,000+ seminars to more than 20 participants in each one; the workbooks ran 10-20 pages long; lots of printing, schlepping, and expense. But here I suggest a two-sided handout at the opening, with links to books, other products, blogs, web articles, and direct links to resources connected to the sponsoring organizations as well. How that is done—the process, then the two-sided example just used on 6/25 in L.A.—are explained in the blog.
