Some would say that BAIPA’s presentations are the most valuable part of our meetings. Others might argue that it’s the Q & A or the networking. But as one wag once said, “Never underestimate the importance of refreshments.”
We need your help to keep those refreshments coming.
Parts of the spread are things like crackers and chips and cookies that can be stored in between meetings, but we want to provide a healthy spread, and so we need a volunteer to buy fresh fruit and pastries and cheese before each meeting.
We’re not expecting you to pay for the refreshments. BAIPA will reimburse you at the meeting. We’ll even provide a shopping list, though you’re welcome to improvise.
Thanks to the many volunteers who’ve purchased food one or more times — Mike and Pam Mirabella, Becky Parker Geist, Tamara Shiloh, Val Sherer, and more.
Thank you as well to Joy Appleby, who has volunteered to coordinate the refreshment volunteers — calling or emailing them to make sure we’re covered for each meeting. All that’s left is the list of volunteers for her to contact.
Once a year, that’s all we’re asking. Sign up here. Thank you in advance.
