We ran our first book blurb contest in the spring, modeled after our cover contest. Now we’re seeking submissions for a title contest.
Thanks to all of you who submitted titles already. We have about a dozen entries. This is last call. Deadline is September 5. Labor Day. By the end of the day.
- The contest is open to current BAIPA member, for a title (and subtitle) that is not yet published. (You can submit a title for a book you haven’t even written yet. Like my possible fifth novel, Killing in the Kitchen: The Pickleball Cruise Ship Family Reunion Murder Mystery.)
- One title per author.
- Send the title and genre to [email protected]. (If you already have a book cover, include it and we’ll put it on the slide with the title.)
- Deadline is Monday, September 5 to submit your title. We’ll hold the poll at our September 10 meeting.
- We will put the titles onto slides and share them before the meeting and at the meeting. We’ll use a Zoom poll, and everyone present at the meeting will get three votes.
Winner(s) get a free afternoon workshop in 2022 or 2023. (Note: Earlier we said 2022, but it’s already September, and we only have a few workshops on the calendar before the end of the year.
We look forward to seeing your titles.
