The Board is sad to announce the passing of Wendy Bartlett on April 7, 2024. The multi-talented artist, author, singer, and friend to many will be deeply missed.
Her daughter, Elizabeth Stark, posted on Facebook:
“My mother @wendybartlett49 was an often-spontaneous world traveler (and an artist, author, singer, and more) and once she decided to stop fighting cancer and depart this world, she did so fairly quickly and readily. She passed away on April 7 at 9:20 pm in our home, peacefully and surrounded by love. Independent until nearly the end, she drove herself up to our town about three weeks before she died in our home.”
(Note from Sandra McGee: I only knew Wendy from the monthly BAIPA meetings and I’m sure my post falls short of the remembrance she deserves. Please share your thoughts and memories in the comments.)

Wendy was a good friend and I was honored to narrate and produce her audiobooks. Fly free, my dear friend! The song of you will live on in our hearts.
