I just launched my new collection of travel stories, Your Crocodile has Arrived: More True Stories from a Curious Traveler, and discovered that Amazon’s algorithm for determining “Best Seller” status is much more complicated than I had realized. In addition to actual sales, it takes into account things like reviews and even clicks on the book’s page. Here’s a screenshot of my “Best Seller” status — amazingly good for a book that launched literally 2 days ago and hasn’t yet sold any copies.
What this means is that BAIPA members can help each other by simply visiting each others’ Amazon pages. That said, I’d really appreciate it if you’d visit my book’s page. Thanks in advance!

Will visit your website so there will be an extra click or two. I’m a dues paying member of the BAIPA.
