Lee Foster’s expertise on social media in self-publishing is the subject of a recent article in The Independent, the monthly magazine for the Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA), which is the national equivalent to BAIPA (BAIPA is an affiliate member). It appeared in the August 2015 issue, going to IBPA’s 3,000 members and 2,000 additional “influencers” in publishing and media.
The article, entitled “My Social Media System,” is based on Chapter 7, “Your Social Media Outreach” of Lee’s book, An Author’s Perspective on Independent Publishing: Why Self-Publishing May Be Your Best Option. The book is announced in detail on Lee’s website and is on his Amazon Author Page.
The article title addresses a subject that every indie author needs to consider to be successful. It describes, in detail, how Lee develops a blog subject weekly about one of his books for his website blog and then announces the blog post with a graphic on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Google +.
Articles from the magazine appear a month later for the public on the IBPA website (under Resources, Monthly Magazine: Independent), and articles from earlier months can be viewed by searching under article category or author name. (There are two earlier articles by Lee.)
