As some of you know, on July 8, book design guru (and former BAIPA president) Joel Friedlander is presenting We All Judge Books By Their Covers — How to Create Book Covers That Work.
In the afternoon, he’ll be part of a panel doing live critiques of BAIPA authors’ book covers. (See Seeking Brave Souls to Submit Book Covers for Critique at July Meeting.)
He’ll be joined by long-time BAIPA volunteer and former board member Ruth Schwartz and me, and we’ll also be welcoming feedback from participants.
We’ve received more than a dozen covers — thanks to John Cammidge, Arlene Miller, Karen LaPuma, Thomas Burchfield, Eric Armstrong, Rose Kuntz, Carol Sheldon, Lee Foster, and others for submitting. There’s still time to submit yours. Deadline for submissions is July 1. Here’s are a few of the covers we’ll be critiquing.
Hope to see you in July. We’re going to have fun.
Here’s where you can register for the morning and afternoon sessions.
