“My father is a federal criminal. My father is a hero,” BAIPA member Barbara McVeigh writes in her memoir, Redemption: How Ronald Reagan Nearly Ruined My Life.
She’ll be reading from her book on Monday, January 8, 6 p.m. at theFerry Building Book Passage in San Francisco. The event is hosted by Left Coast Writers.
Writer, educator, filmmaker, radio host and environmentalist, Barbara was eleven years old when her father was fired by President Reagan for a union strike in 1981, leading him and thousands of other families into years of strife.
