John Byrne Barry Talks About Character Voice, Setting, Humor and More on #badasswriters Podcast

December 17, 2022 by John Byrne Barry

Back in October, Kathleen Foxx, the Canada-based host of #badasswriters podcast, interviewed me, and we had a fun and stimulating conversation about character voice, memorable setting, and injecting humor into difficult subjects, like in my most recent novel about assisted-suicide. But I’ve been busy enough in the past two months and the world’s been crazy enough that I forgot about our talk.

She posted it this week, and very much enjoyed listening to it and I sounded like I knew what I was talking about. I hope you enjoy it too.

You can listen on Apple, Anchor, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts. Enjoy.
