His book, published in February 2015, is Personal Political Power In California: How to Take Action & Make a Difference.
The book is a manual for grass roots advocates and is designed to help ordinary people influence public policy. It features interviews and advice from California elected officials, academic research, volunteer advocates, professional lobbyists and Joel’s experience working in 47 states.
