On Saturday, May 6, fifty-plus BAIPA members gathered at the Key Room in Novato. It was the first in-person meeting since the pandemic hit in March 2020.
It was also the first hybrid meeting for BAIPA with about twenty members attending on Zoom.
President Becky Parker Geist came from Oregon; The Grammar Diva Arlene Miller from Florida; Board Member Pamela Fenner from Massachusetts, a new member from Monterey, and other members from nearby Sonoma, Napa, Berkeley, Marin, and the Peninsula.
Ruth Schwartz addressed “What Do Authors Need to Know About Amazon NOW?”
Lynn Fraley arranged the complimentary catered lunch with an array of choices for everyone.
The buzz in the room… “Let’s do this again!”
John Byrne Barry says
Thank you Sandra for writing this up and expressing the sentiment that I heard many people share. — we should do this again. Certainly more than once every three years.
Thanks to Lynn Fraley for taking the lead on getting the venue and the lunch, as well as Becky and Ruth. It was so great to see all of you.
Pauline Wiles says
Thank you to everyone who worked so hard making this special meeting happen!
