This workshop is designed to help self-publishing authors understand the best practices of designing the interiors of their books, and equip them with the skills needed to DIY their formatting at a professional level.
This comprehensive workshop, led by Monique Danielle, Educational Content Curator from Atticus, is divided into two insightful sessions. The first hour delves into the best practices for interior book formatting. We’ll explore the principles of typography, margin settings, and the importance of choosing the right fonts and spacing to enhance readability and aesthetic appeal. This session aims to demystify the process of turning your manuscript into a visually appealing product that stands out in the competitive market of self-published books. We’ll also discuss how to identify when you’ve gone too far and need to rein in the design elements.
