About Our Speaker: Dr. C. Daniel Miller
Dr. C. Daniel Miller is co-founder and co-owner of Integrated Writer Services, LLC, an independent publishing consulting service. He has served in leadership in the Colorado Independent Publishers Association (CIPA). In addition to managing larger copyright clearance projects, he makes presentations and conducts workshops on copyright for independent publishing groups. Dan also co-authored Copyright Clearance for Creatives, an essential guide about copyright issues for the creative community.
Dan has a diverse background in technology and in education. As a technology consultant to architects, he designed computer and telecommunications infrastructures in civic and educational buildings. He was the founding president of the Center for Educational Technologies; the executive director of NASA’s Classroom of the Future; a university professor and university department chair; an educational researcher, and a K-12 classroom teacher.
