Congratulations to Sandra McGee, Chris Buchanan, Beth Ann Mathews, and Linda Joy Myers for winning our poll for best book cover. We divided the 24 entries in 4 categories: Nonfiction, Memoir, Children’s/YA, and Fiction. Thank you to all members who submitted a cover, and/or voted in the cover contest — as well as to David Kudler for his excellent book cover design presentation. Winners in each category will receive a free workshop in 2024.
You are welcome to share your thoughts on any of the covers in the comments — especially the ones you like and why.
Here are all the entries, starting with the winning covers. (Click on the vertical line of three dots in the bottom left to see the slides full screen.)

It’s really hard to see which ones were the winners. Like maybe each winner blown up in size after all pictured? Or at least within the text the book TITLE could have been written after the author. I had to go back and forth about four times and I still couldn’t figure out actual WINNERS from several groupings. I was one whose vote didn’t count yesterday and very frustrated with the technology of ballots.
