I hope you can join me at my book launch Sunday, January 8, 2023 from 4-6 PM at Homestead Valley Community Center, 315 Montford Avenue, Mill Valley, CA. The launch is part of an art exhibit of portraits included in the book Women of Color and Accomplishment: Fighting for Equality. The Center is ½ mile up the street from the Two AM Club.
I will also have copies of my first book in the series Women of Color and Accomplishment and the 47 page Exhibition Catalog.
The launch location contains an art exhibit featuring seventeen portraits from my book Women of Color and Accomplishment: Fighting for Equality. Women featured are included in the series because they have been overlooked by many history books. These portraits focus attention on the many Black women whose accomplishments helped further the cause of racial and social equality.
PARKING: Marin Horizon school has overflow parking for HVCC on weekends. There is a walkway to the HVCC.
