RESCHEDULED WORKSHOP (registration still valid if you registered in the fall)
10am-12 Noon PST
Amazon is a great place to sell books, but most authors (and publishers) underutilize the free tools that Amazon offers. Metadata, keywords, editorial reviews, and Amazon’s backend systems are also something that are often misunderstood, and underused. This deep dive class will dig into all of the pieces that Amazon has to help you sell more books.
Key takeaways:
- Understand Amazon’s relevancy score and why it matters!
- Find the best keywords to optimize your Amazon book page
- Understand categories and how to rank consistently #1 in your category.
- Creative ways to add Amazon keywords to your Amazon book page for better page visibility
- Refresh your approach to Amazon ads: With the new ads dashboard, working within Amazon’s ad system has gotten more confusing and more complex. We’ll look at some creative ways to drive more clicks and improve ranking.
- Optimize keywords in Amazon ads: How many do you need, and how can you find the right ones? Some new data suggests that the old ways of finding keywords are no longer working so it’s time to catch up.
- Ad types: which ones should you run and for how long
- Leverage your backlist: If you have a single title that’s doing well there are some key strategies you can use to generate more exposure for your backlist.
- Can Amazon ads help you with organic optimization? They can, and this class will break that down.
