Becky Parker Geist will be giving a teleseminar on Audiobook Marketing Strategies That Work on June 19 at 10 am Pacific Time for the NonFiction Authors Association. BAIPA members Becky Parker Geist and John Sames created the Audiobook Marketing Program for Pro Audio Voices, the first marketing program for indie authors specifically designed for audiobooks.

The AMP program, which uses video book trailers as the hub of the marketing wheel, has generated 5.9K views over the past 90 days, with 6.3K minutes in watch time — significant upward trends in both those numbers. As AMP continues to learn more about techniques that are proving effective, all of their authors benefit. Their goal is to have authors be so successful with their audiobooks as a result of AMP that it becomes the obvious path of choice for all authors.

One of my favorite things about BAIPA is its culture of generosity, the willingness — even eagerness — to share what we have each learned in the process of bringing stories to life. We provide educational programs, networking, marketing opportunities, encouragement, and information on industry vendors and services. And lots of one-on-one advice and mentoring.

We welcome all who have an interest in making connections within the world of independent publishing and learning more about how to publish and sell their work successfully. Together we are raising the standard of independent publishing and helping our members thrive.
