The non-fiction book – a far cry from romance, YA fantasy, or cozy mystery – is meant to help millennials and those struggling with the changes that have overtaken the work world and effectively broken the career ladder.
Kelly credits her co-author, Marlene Page, for the detour. After meeting at a business conference, and bonding over how a shared appreciation for how effective DuPont’s employee mentorship and training was, Marlene proposed the idea for the book.
After several years of weekly conversations, the book was shaped as a mentorship-in-a-box idea, from two women with lots of work experience between them.
The big surprise—the book includes AI prompts to allow readers to turn the book’s advice, insights, and worksheets into a highly personalized quantumized career plan.
Kelly is pleased to report that this non-fiction side routes has been a pleasure to take.
You can find the book (ebook and paperback, with audio in the words) online in many places: https://books2read.com/u/bxDLG6
