Long-time member and my editor and dear friend David Colin Carr asked me to post this to BAIPA:

David Colin Carr is dying (Parkinson’s). His just published Melting Into Sweetness: Aging Gently, Dying Gladly is now on Amazon (many thanks to John Byrne Barry for tolerating my wobbly brain). He loved the breadth and depth of our community, it enriched his life and he hopes it becomes a model for more such groups.

David is a past-president of BAIPA and has been a true gift to the indie-publishing community. His work in editing my book The Left Turn: Two Lives Worlds Apart was invaluable. As he edited, he also taught me ways to improve my writing. I have cherished our friendship and our work together, as well as our overlapping time in BAIPA. As he has blessed our community, I wish him many blessings on the next part of the living and dying journey.

After receiving her M.F.A. in Acting, Becky began narrating Talking Books for the Blind through the Library of Congress, narrating over 70 titles in two years, and became one of their most popular narrators and one of only 2 full time narrators. As a professional stage actress, she has toured internationally, regionally and locally.
