Do you know what to expect when you send a project, like your precious book, to China to be printed?
Adrianne Casey, Sales Director for over 10 years at San Rafael’s Global PSD (Printing, Sourcing and Development), will tell us about this unknown adventure since most of us have never worked with an offshore printing company.
“I hope to put your mind at ease about the whole unfamiliar process,” Casey says. She will also describe what types of printing materials are available in the marketplace, special tactile or graining laminations, inks, varieties of paper, and binding styles, and will explain that Global PSD encourages the use of reforestation efforts and green initiatives, and eco-friendly carbon-neutral options, non-toxic laminates and varnishes, soy, recycled paper, and pulp trees from tree farms.
Casey, an expert in print production, project and product development, specializes in creating complicated projects that require skilled hand labor and in new product development, book packaging and repurposing existing content.
