Despite some logistic challenges, we had a great day with Steven Spatz, President of BookBaby on March 12th.
He was stuck in Philadelphia with a badly sprained ankle, and he still delivered some great content on self-publishing via a microphone in front of a cell phone, and sending his presentations in advance.
As a thank you, Steven wanted everyone to have a direct link to his book, The End, Now What?!, as well as the amazing selection of guides that BookBaby has produced. One of the guides that he mentioned during the sessions was the one on Amazon keywords. I actually got that guide already, and it walks you through a great process to identifying the best keywords for your book.
And in case you didn’t know, BookBaby is now providing Print on Demand services, as well as their ebook and regular printing services.

One of my favorite things about BAIPA is its culture of generosity, the willingness — even eagerness — to share what we have each learned in the process of bringing stories to life. We provide educational programs, networking, marketing opportunities, encouragement, and information on industry vendors and services. And lots of one-on-one advice and mentoring.
We welcome all who have an interest in making connections within the world of independent publishing and learning more about how to publish and sell their work successfully. Together we are raising the standard of independent publishing and helping our members thrive.
Do join us!
