IMPORTANT: All members attending in person can bring books to sell at the event.
All members will receive a Zoom link if you can’t be there in person.
As usual, Zoom access will be sent out to all members and registered non-members by 9 PM Pacific on Friday, December 5th.
The general meeting begins at 9 AM Pacific, the panel presentation is at 11 AM Pacific, after Q&A, networking time, introductions & announcements.

A Book Cover Primer, Cover Contest, and Cover Feedback Opportunity
featuring Steve Rustad and a wonderful line-up of panelists
People judge books by their covers every day. Your cover has a very important job to do, so are you sure it’s up to the job?
For this year’s annual cover design event, we have invited Steve Rustad, long time graphic designer and illustrator.
We will have our usual cover design contest, and the panel will also provide live feedback of up to six BAIPA authors’ book covers. See this blog article for details on submitting your books for both opportunities. Submission deadline is November 24th.
The panel will be moderated by Ruth Schwartz.
About Our Speaker, Steve Rustad
Steve had the good fortune to be mentored in graphic design by some legitimate “Mad Men & Women” and he enjoys passing on that knowledge.He is passionate about graphic design, branding, and applying these skills to author’s books, including his own. He loves to teach and mentor and believes the essence of graphic design is collaboration.
