SAN FRANCISCO – INDIE UNCON February 2020
The Cloud Hilton, 750 Kearny St, San Francisco
The UnCon is for authorpreneurs who have self-published and are pursuing success as indie authors.
The indie publishing landscape changes rapidly and constantly. At UnCon, we cut through the hype and look for what’s working NOW, with:
- 3 days of dedicated conference space
- unlimited discussion of hot topics like Facebook Groups/Ads/Marketing, privacy policy, etc.
- the lowdown on what’s currently working
- affordable cost (depending on cost of conference room, we’ve always come in under $75 per person).
The UnConference does not have a set agenda and is a free-wheeling event where authorpreneurs who have some experience in self-publishing share and learn information on how to take their careers to the next level.
The topics evolve from our discussions in advance of the event, from the Circle of Introductions, and discussions during the event. Small break-out group brainstorming sessions on a variety of topics are always encouraged.
Space is limited. If you are an author looking to up your business game, click here for more details and the link to registration.
Hope to see you at BAIPA in January or February. I’m trying not to think of the snowy Maine landscape looming in my future.

One of my favorite things about BAIPA is its culture of generosity, the willingness — even eagerness — to share what we have each learned in the process of bringing stories to life. We provide educational programs, networking, marketing opportunities, encouragement, and information on industry vendors and services. And lots of one-on-one advice and mentoring.
We welcome all who have an interest in making connections within the world of independent publishing and learning more about how to publish and sell their work successfully. Together we are raising the standard of independent publishing and helping our members thrive.
Do join us!
