BAIPA member Julie Freestone and Rudi Raab will be talking about their historical novel Stumbling Stone on Monday, August 15 at the Peninsula Jewish Community Center, 800 Foster City Blvd, Foster City. The event is particularly timely in light of the death of Holocaust survivor, author and Nobel Laureate Elie Wiesel, who spoke compellingly about the need to keep telling the stories of victims of the Nazis. Many stories about that period are on their website at stumbling-stone.com/blog.
BAIPA members also might want to check out theauthorsshow.com, an online radio program that broadcasts on five channels. Staff conducts a professional interview with authors at no charge that plays for 24 hours. They also offer marketing services for a fee.
