Local publisher Peter Goodman sends along this invitation for a free picnic open to all. It’s at Cedar Rose Park in Berkeley on August 26 from noon to 4.
Publishing Professionals Network (PPN) and Bay Area Women in Publishing (BAWiP) have long worked to promote and support the book publishing community through mentorship programs, book awards, meetups, educational conferences and other professional development programs. Once again we’re joining forces to connect our communities in a fun, outdoor event.
Grab your sunhat and your sweater (it is the Bay Area, after all), and come meet some of your local publishing peeps in person!
Location: Cedar Rose Park, Berkeley (walkable from North Berkeley BART)
You do not have to be a PPN or BAWiP member to attend, but you do need to register.
The event is free to participants.
BAWiP/PPN will provide drinks, chips, cups, plates, utensils, trash bags, name tags, etc.

Current BAIPA members do not need to register for our monthly meetings. The night before the meetings, they will receive the Zoom info. For workshop registration, currently, members get in free for all workshops and will receive the Zoom info the night before the meetings, as well as in the confirmation email.
