Target GroupFinding Your Audience for Author-Publishers

Are You Serious about Selling Books?

When your goal is to sell more books, and you are not sure where to start, this is the workshop for you. Authors will get help in answering these questions:

  • who is my ideal audience?
  • what if I have more than one audience that fits my book?
  • where can I find my audience?
  • how do I connect and stay connected with my audience?

You will gain clarity on the best ways to connect with and grow your tribe of readers. You will flesh out the description of your ideal reader and what is important to them. You will practice and refine your core message.

This workshop is for you if you want to learn slime-free ways to promote and market yourself and your book.

This is part one of a series of three workshops: Connecting with Your Audience

  1. Finding Your Audience, June 20, 2018
  2. Influencer Outreach, August 22, 2018
  3. The Care and Nurturing of Super Fans, October 24, 2018

Take advantage of early bird pricing and sign up for the series.

Workshops will be held at the Finley Center, 2060 West College Avenue, Santa Rosa, CA 95401

The first workshop takes place on June 20, 2018, from 6:30-8:30 pm in the Maple Room

We provide educational programs, networking, marketing opportunities, encouragement, and information on industry vendors and services. And lots of one-on-one advice and mentoring.

We welcome all who have an interest in making connections within the world of independent publishing and learning more about how to publish and sell their work successfully. Together we are raising the standard of independent publishing and helping our members thrive.
