Overview

A Holistic View of the Responsible Use of AI in Book Publishing

While many AI programs zero in on just a single function, like editorial or marketing, this practical session, led by technology and publishing expert Thad McIlroy, looks at the full range of available AI tools across the publishing workflow.

We’ll explore how the successful use of AI involves understanding the technology holistically, as something that can benefit the entire publication process. Included in the session:

  • A demonstration of Insight (from Veristage), one of the most popular AI multifunction tools today. It offers multiple modules that cover numerous editorial and marketing functions, along with specialized tasks, like translation and index generation.
  • Highlighted alternative tools that can allow publishers to “roll their own” by building an AI workflow from best-of-breed custom tools.

Register now for this timely and informative session, including a Q&A, led by a true AI expert in the publishing industry!
