Starting this week, I will be adding Craft of Writing conversations at 2:00 every Thursday, following David Kudler’s self-publishing open question period at Wise & Son or Starbucks (Larkspur Landing).

David Colin Carr
Bring questions about structure, voice, content, style, grammar, working with editors, back cover, author page, query letter, pitch. If you are interested in a critique of three page (double-space) prose sample, bring five copies.
Be ready to specify your audience and what you want them to learn/experience from your writing, as well as how your perspective is unique. The conversation is open to all who show up and functions as an educational forum.
Questions? Contact me at david@davidcolincarr.com.

One of my favorite things about BAIPA is its culture of generosity, the willingness — even eagerness — to share what we have each learned in the process of bringing stories to life. We provide educational programs, networking, marketing opportunities, encouragement, and information on industry vendors and services. And lots of one-on-one advice and mentoring.
We welcome all who have an interest in making connections within the world of independent publishing and learning more about how to publish and sell their work successfully. Together we are raising the standard of independent publishing and helping our members thrive.
Do join us!
