Gymnastics Day with Silly Sammy, a whimsical children’s book written and illustrated by BAIPA member Sharon Cooper in 2016, was announced as an award winner in the Children’s Trade category of the 2017 PPN (Publishing Professionals Network) Book Show.
The PPN Book Show will be held at Chronicle Books in San Francisco on Wednesday, October 25. More information will be available soon at pubpronetwork.org/bookshow.
Silly Sammy is the first book written by Sharon Cooper, a preschool and developmental team coach for 12 years at Redwood Empire Gymnastics in Petaluma. The book was a collaborative effort with BAIPA members Val Sherer, interior book designer, and Linda Jay, copyeditor.
