BAIPA is a sponsor of the San Francisco Writers Conference February 15-18 at the Hyatt Regency. We will be staffing a table there. Ruth Schwartz will be on a publishing panel on Saturday and John Byrne Barry will be at the Ask-a-Pro table, also on Saturday.

We also will have the opportunity to include a flyer/brochure about BAIPA in the conference tote bag that every participant receives. We’ll also feature them at our table.

Our existing flyer is out of date so we’re planning to pull together a postcard with a brief description of BAIPA and its services.

Which brings us to you.

We’d like to include one or more testimonials from our members. One sentence. Or two, if they’re short.

We welcome you to submit your testimonial to webmaster@baipa.org.

The attribution will read, xxx xxxx, author of xxx xxx. So you can promote your book.

We can’t guarantee that anyone will buy your book, but it’s one more way of getting visibility.

We will also post the testimonial to our website.

Deadline is January 17.

Questions? Contact us at webmaster@baipa.org

PS. We may still have shifts for volunteers on Friday or Saturday (February 16 and 17), and possibly Sunday, if we have enough people. If you’re interested, fill out the form below.

One of my favorite things about BAIPA is its culture of generosity, the willingness — even eagerness — to share what we have each learned in the process of bringing stories to life. We provide educational programs, networking, marketing opportunities, encouragement, and information on industry vendors and services. And lots of one-on-one advice and mentoring.

We welcome all who have an interest in making connections within the world of independent publishing and learning more about how to publish and sell their work successfully. Together we are raising the standard of independent publishing and helping our members thrive.

Do join us!
