Arlene Miller, the Grammar Diva, has written a new book. Can Your Flamingo Flamenco? The Best Little Dictionary of Confused Words and Malapropisms, is now available on Amazon and will be available on Kindle on August 7. Other online sites will carry it within the second or third weeks of August.
Arlene will be selling her books — at special Fair prices — as part of the Redwood Writers table at the Sonoma County Fair in Santa Rosa on August 5, 11, and 13. A group of other Redwood Writers will be giving writing tips and readings, and of course selling their books, at the fair from August 3-13, between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m., in the E.C. Kraft Building.

One of my favorite things about BAIPA is its culture of generosity, the willingness — even eagerness — to share what we have each learned in the process of bringing stories to life. We provide educational programs, networking, marketing opportunities, encouragement, and information on industry vendors and services. And lots of one-on-one advice and mentoring.
We welcome all who have an interest in making connections within the world of independent publishing and learning more about how to publish and sell their work successfully. Together we are raising the standard of independent publishing and helping our members thrive.
Do join us!
