Dr. C. Daniel Miller is also known as "The Copyright Detective." He is a co-founder and co-owner of Integrated Writer Services, LLC, an independent publishing consulting service specializing in copyright clearance and the impacts of AI on copyrightability. He has served in leadership roles in the Colorado Independent Publishers Association (CIPA). In addition to managing larger copyright clearance projects, he currently consults on business aspects of independent publishing. He also co-authored Copyright Clearance for Creatives, an essential guide about copyright issues for the creative community.
