Mike’s first children’s book, 2018 Moonbeam Gold Medal Award winner, On The Luck Of An Irish Sailor is a fantasy tale of a young Irish sailor cast adrift in the ocean sea. The story is sung and recorded by balladeer Shay Black.
Mike’s second book, Pinnacle Achievement Award Gold Medal Award winner, Sister Butterfly, is first book in ‘The Carla Stories’ series about Mike’s special needs daughter Carla, focusing on inclusion, compassion and discovery. The second book is the sequel entitled, I Used to be Shy, co-authored by Lenny Lipton (Puff The Magic Dragon) focuses on bonding with peers and how parents and guardians can facilitate the process. The third book (coming soon) in ‘The Carla Stories’ series is called Special People, highlighting accomplishments and pride.
