Retired professor of mathematics from SJSU. I love puzzles, imagining, and laughing. I hate marketing, but bit my tongue and did a modest amount but didn’t sell a modest amount. Covid cam and I dropped out of writing and focused on Monster Sudokus and other weekly puzzles. Now I’m back determined to write that third book of a promised trilogy. However, it also reflects my first book set in the Midwest, which was more popular than my books about tetrapeds, a sentitent intelligent society dwelling under the sea floor. Because I felt for the iintegrity of the book I needed to make up words for the way they measured (obviously not in inches and feet nor centimeters and meters) and time. Morning, noon, and night reflects the time it takes Earth to revolve around the sun. No sun under the sea floor. While I provided a glossary named Tetraped Speak, many readers were put off.
