HYBRID MEETING: Annual Update on KDP/Amazon and IngramSpark

with Ruth Schwartz, Founder & CEO of Wonderlady Books

The world of print-on-demand and distribution continues to evolve—and staying current matters more than ever.

Join Ruth Schwartz of Wonderlady Books for her annual update on Amazon KDP and IngramSpark. Ruth will break down what’s changed, what actually matters, and how to make smart publishing decisions in today’s landscape.

Whether you’re preparing to publish your first book or managing multiple titles, this session will help you navigate recent platform updates, avoid costly mistakes, and choose the right strategy for your publishing goals.

What we’ll cover:

  • Key updates to KDP and IngramSpark over the past year

  • Shifts in print pricing and royalties—including the impact of KDP’s reduced royalty rates on lower-priced books

  • What’s changed (and what hasn’t) in categories, metadata, and discoverability

  • The growing role of AI in publishing—and what platforms expect from authors today

  • Current realities of customer support and account management

  • Best practices for using KDP, IngramSpark—or both—effectively

You’ll walk away with:

  • A clear understanding of how the two platforms compare today

  • Practical guidance on pricing, distribution, and setup decisions

  • Updated strategies to avoid common pitfalls and platform frustrations

  • Confidence in choosing the right path for your next book

Bring your questions—there’s always something new, and always something changing.
