The author served as Joe Biden's first intern at the U.S. Senate, and later as a Legislative Correspondent & Research Assistant for Senator Edmund Muskie. She then served on the White House Staff of Vice President Walter Mondale, coordinating logistics for his domestic & foreign travels. Her career focused on behavioral health issues in more recent years. She is now happily retired.
