I came across this article as I was researching AI for writers and authors online the other day, and I thought it might be worth reading by our BAIPA audience. Not the link to Joanna Penn’s article towards the end.
Outstanding article on AI. But it doesn’t consider that people need and want community more than ever, and passionate community of fans will sustain writers no matter who publishes them. I think now is the best time ever to be a writer, but as you wrote, the more formulaic a genre is, the easier it will be for AI master it.
I just realized I had a typo in that sentence referencing Joanna Penn. “Not” should be “Note”. And thanks, Michael Larsen for your comment.
