Join Us on November 14th for Email List Building for Authors with Joel Friedlander

November 1, 2015 by Ruth Schwartz

Learn how to build this valuable skill from award-winning book designer, blogger, writer and BAIPA member Joel Friedlander.

Joel FriedlanderJoel has had remarkable success in building his email list—in fact, he has more than 40,000 people on various email lists, and they have become his primary marketing tool. Joel writes in a conversational style, mixes free information with commercial offers, and maintains a high level of engagement with his readers.  He’s been launching the careers of self-publishers since 1994 from his book design and consulting practice at Marin Bookworks (also known as “JFBookman”) in San Rafael.

During the morning session, Joel will speak about “Authors and Email: The Missing Link?” During the afternoon session, he will deliver a two-part workshop, Joel will walk you through the steps to get yourself set up with an email system, and he will talk about how to put your email list to use.

For complete information and to register, go here. And don’t forget to advance order and pay for your gourmet lunch for only $12. The deadline is coming up fast on November 9th.

Any questions? Email events[email protected].

We look forward to seeing you on November 14th!
