Whose Book Blurbs Will Win the BAIPA Book Blurb Contest?

May 4, 2022 by John Byrne Barry Leave a Comment

Thanks to those of you who submitted your book blurbs for our contest. Unlike the cover contest, we are sharing the slides in advance because it takes more time and attention to evaluate a blurb than a cover.

We’ll be voting on the blurbs at the May 7 meeting. You need not be present to win, but you must be present to vote. We said before that everyone at the meeting will get three votes, but we’re changing that from three to one, because some categories only have three entries.

Here are the entries, divided into four categories — memoir, nonfiction, children’s, and fiction.

Thanks for participating. Winners will get a free workshop in 2022.
