BAIPA to Be an Exhibitor at February San Francisco Writers Conference

January 24, 2015 by Jeffrey Samorano

Microsoft Word - Agreement Exhibit Space 2015.docIt’s less than a month away! Circle February 12-16 on your 2015 calendar with a humongous red Magic Marker!

Not only are those the dates for the 12th Annual San Francisco Writers Conference at the Mark Hopkins Hotel in San Francisco, but also…BAIPA will have a table at the always-sold-out Conference!

You can find us in the Room of the Dons, and the exhibits are open to the public. A number of BAIPA Board members and volunteers will be there, including Judy Baker, Linda Jay, Lynn Fraley and Ruth Schwartz, talking up our one-of-a-kind organization. And our own Lee Foster will be participating in five panels and other speaking events at the Conference.

The 2015 SFWC, also called a “Celebration of Craft, Commerce and Community,” offers attendees interaction with more than 100 literary agents, editors, publishers and bestselling authors. Major names in publishing who participate in SFWC take a personal interest in the projects discovered there.

One of the most popular events is Speed Dating, on Saturday, February 14, from 8AM – Noon. Described as “wildly popular,” this valuable add-on session ($60.) offers authors three-minute pitch sessions during one hour, to 20+ agents from New York and L.A., as well as agents local to the Bay Area.

The SFWC Writing Contest and master workshops are open to non-attendees. Details, registration, and opt-in for the SFWC newsletter? Go to: www.SFWriters.org .
