Our 2024 cycle officially wrapped up four weeks ago, on January 18, with our awards announcement ceremony. And what a flurry it’s been since then! This was a banner year for the awards program in terms of the sheer number of very fine books in, so there’s been plenty to do.
BAIPA member Patricia Noble Sullivan won the gold medal for narrative nonfiction for Overland Before the Hippie Trail: Kathmandu and Beyond with a Van a Man and No Plan.
Interested in seeing what those wins were all about? You can find our press release announcement here. You can view a recording of the event here. (Keeping in mind that I had not originally planned to present. Presenting is so not my main jam.) And a little later this month, you’ll be able to browse the fully redesigned celebratory page for the 2024 winners as well.
If you’d like to read a little about some of our winning authors from the year previous (with the 2024 authors shortly to follow), check us out on LinkedIn.
